Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These terms cover what happens when you use this website or hire Aakib Digital Hub — which is me, Aakib, working as an independent developer — for a project. By submitting the contact form or agreeing to work together, you're agreeing to the terms below.

What this site is for

This website is a portfolio and a way to get in touch about web, Android, and AI automation work. Nothing on it is a binding offer on its own — actual project terms, pricing, and timelines are agreed separately, in writing, once we've talked through what you need.

How projects are agreed

Before any work starts, we'll agree on scope, timeline, and price — usually over email or a call. Larger projects are typically split into milestones, with a portion due upfront and the rest tied to delivery. Nothing outside that agreed scope is included unless we both agree to add it.

Payment

Payment terms are set per project and confirmed in writing before work begins. Late payment may pause active work until it's resolved. Any taxes applicable to the work in your jurisdiction are your responsibility unless we've explicitly agreed otherwise.

Ownership of the work

Once a project is paid for in full, you own the code, design, and other deliverables built specifically for you. Any general-purpose tools, libraries, or components I've built up over time and reuse across projects remain mine, though you're free to keep using them as part of what was delivered to you.

Support after launch

Every project includes a support window (typically three months) to fix bugs and handle issues tied to the original work. Ongoing tuning, new features, or scaling beyond the original scope are handled through a separate retainer or new agreement.

No guarantees of outcome

I build things properly and stand behind the work, but I can't promise specific business results — like a set increase in leads or sales — since those depend on factors outside the software itself. What I can promise is that the work will do what we agreed it would do.

Limits on liability

To the extent allowed by law, Aakib Digital Hub isn't liable for indirect or downstream losses (like lost profits) arising from the use of anything built. Liability for any direct issue is capped at the amount paid for the specific project in question.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, I'll update this page and the date at the top. For active projects, the terms agreed at the start of that project continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
